Meet Our Amazing Founder

Hi! I’m Brittany!

I am a personal trainer specializing in functional movement, mobility, injury prevention and recovery. With a background in exercise science, kinesiology and corrective exercise, I help clients improve strength, flexibility, and balance, leading to a better quality of life and reduced risk of injury. My philosophy centers around taking a new approach to exercise where medical limitations from joint replacements or prior injuries no longer hinder your ability to safely exercise.

At Built 2 Recover, I introduced an injury focused training program that significantly enhanced clients’ movement abilities and increased quality of life in nearly all my clients. My clients have a variety of limitations that include joint replacements, back pain, pregnancy and more. My classes are designed to be engaging and adaptive, whether we’re working on injury recovery, injury prevention or increasing your movement. I take pride in helping clients build a resilient foundation, which translates into their daily lives to help them enjoy the activities they love.

In my personal life, I love music, cooking, country line and swing dancing, traveling, outdoor adventures and quality time with my husband, daughter, friends, and family. I have had injuries that range from heart surgery at the age of 4 to a total hip replacement at the age of 25, ailments like stage 4 endometriosis, fibromyalgia, and even pregnancy with a c-section delivery. I have personally experienced the sickness and recovery process multiple times and truly understand how much of a toll it can take on you both physically and mentally. I’m eager to work with people like me who want to improve their quality of life and experience a more recovery based functional fitness journey. Every body is different, but every body is Built 2 Recover!
